The 3rd Wengon Festival (local and international indigenous festivals and competitions) was held with the aim of expanding Iran's native and local culture and the development of tourism with great success and glory. The festival was sponsored by Kadbanoo (Delpazir) company, with the assistance of the Society of Cultural and Natural Heritage Lovers of Semnan and the support of the governator of Semnan, and the cultural heritage, handicrafts and tourism of Semnan city, in two days and at Payame Noor University of Semnan.

The 3rd Wengon Festival in five groups of food: 1-International Foods 2- Local Foods of Iran 3- Eggplant foods 4- Vegetable Plo-Semnani 5-Ashe Gheimeh Semnani, held and ranked and awarded to the first to third of each group 

The festival was attended by 31 people with 72 types of food, with the presence of referees: Ms. Bita Manafi, with four international degrees and Dr. Mrs. Fatemeh Mirebar, a nutrition teacher in the food industry, assessed the cooked dishes and identified three individuals from the top honors of each group and valuable awards with the presence of Dr. Khobab, the Governor of Semnan province, Mr. Saadoddin and Dr. Ahmad Hemmati, the representative of the people of Semnan in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, and Mr. Dr. Abbas Danaee, the Governor of Semnan, and Mr. Dr. Khairuddin, the head of the staff Director of the Society for Cultural and Naturalists in Semnan and Mr. Zahmatkesh and Mr. Majid Nazari were members of the Islamic Council of Semnan and Mr. Dr. Mirami, the head of the Payam Noor University of Semnan.

Cooking competition "Iranian Housewife" with the support of Iranian women of the 8th district of Tehran and with the participation of the Cultural and   Art Organization of Tehran Municipality, was held and selected and premium awards was given by Kadbanoo Company.
